What decides it
Inbox placement comes from the domains and DNS underneath, not the software. Compare what each meters: mailboxes are unlimited, contacts and sends are not.
What to avoid
Warmup scores come from pools of mailboxes emailing each other; providers discount that traffic. A green warmup dashboard predicts nothing about real recipients.
What is changing
Sending platforms now sell the domains and mailboxes themselves. Check whether infrastructure bought inside a tool can be transferred out when you leave.
